Tech Connect Zoom

TechConnect Zoom provides all CCC employees with professional Zoom accounts that allows for engagement using audio, video, screen sharing, and chat. If you do not yet have a TechConnect Zoom Pro account, you can use Service Central to request an account from the district. An account from our district is necessary for using TechConnect Zoom in Canvas.

Zoom Desktop App

For convenience and the best technical experience, we recommend everyone install the desktop app and keep it updated. TechConnect Zoom has provided these instructions: Zoom Workplace App – Get Zoom Version Updates and Stay Updated!

Zoom AI Companion

A Zoom tool to save you time and increase productivity is the Zoom AI Companion. The AI Companion has multiple, customizable features, including options to summarize chat threads, identify action items, and provide shareable meeting summaries. As always, remember that AI technology can sometimes provide incorrect or inaccurate responses. It is always important to check AI-generated content for accuracy, particularly before sharing the content with others. 

The AI features are available to all LRCCD Zoom Pro users.

TechConnect Zoom Training and Support

  • Training:
    • TechConnect Zoom provides live training 5 days/week.
    • You can Register using the TechConnect Zoom Live Online Training Request. Offerings include Basics Training and specialized sessions on topics including Captions, Breakout Rooms, and Polls & Quizzes.
  • Support
    • The TechConnect Zoom Support page includes support guides and articles for using TechConnect Zoom. You can also view recordings of  many presentations on the TechConnect Zoom services.
    • For individual support questions or requests, you can Submit a request to TechConnect support and a member of the support staff will respond directly to you.
