ITC Academies & Institutes

ARC has four online, asynchronous, facilitated Academies & Institutes that are included in the Los Rios Foundations 2.0 professional development program. They are currently offered each Spring semester and the dates for Spring 2026 will be posted soon.

In this program, faculty can choose from two compensation options: earning units for class salary advancement or accruing college service hours. It’s your choice! For details about the compensation options eligibility, visit the Los Rios Faculty Professional Development Foundations 2.0 webpage.

 

ARC Online Teaching Institute (OTI) – Spring 2026

  • American River College Spring 2026 OTI is scheduled from Feb. 6, 2026 through Mar. 13, 2026. Final work due by Mar. 27, 2026.
  • Facilitated, fully online, 6-week, online teaching professional development event.
  • 3.0 Class Salary Advancement Units are available.
  • Registration will open on November 10, 2025.

ARC Accessible Course Creation Academy (ACCA) – Spring 2026

  • American River College Spring 2026 ACCA is scheduled from Feb. 13, 2026 through Mar. 6, 2026. Final work due by Mar. 13, 2026.
  • Facilitated, fully online, 4-week, online teaching professional development event.
  • 2.0 Class Salary Advancement Units are available.
  • Registration will open on November 10, 2025.
