Sharing Google Files

One of the advantages of using Google Drive is the ability to share and collaborate on files and folders from any mobile device, tablet, or computer.

Before you share a file you need to consider who to share it with and how you want them to use it.

For example if you create a map and parking directions for your building for prospective students, would you want your file to be visible to anyone in the public who is searching for it? And if an unknown person/prospective student finds it, are you going to allow them to change it or would you prefer they simply view it.

Or maybe you are developing instructions for a process in your office and you are collaborating with colleagues. That would be a good file to share only with other Los Rios employees and you could provide permission for them to add comments.
