CAST & American River College Present:
Putting It All Together
Facilitators: Donald Walker (CAST) and Lori Hokerson, Universal Design and Accessibility Coordinator (ITC)
Are you looking for an innovative, high quality instructional method that promotes student and faculty engagement, increases student satisfaction, and decreases faculty workload? It’s called Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and CAST will be at ARC September 27 to provide a 90 minute training for interested faculty. UDL is an instructional design approach that creates a barrier-free learning environment by emphasizing student abilities and being learner-centered. Best of all, UDL is intentionally focused on supporting student groups at ARC who are disproportionately impacted, however in doing so, it benefits all students in the process!
