Join us for an engaging workshop introducing Nectir AI, a FERPA-compliant platform that’s transforming how faculty support student learning. In this session, you will learn what Nectir AI is and how it differs from consumer AI tools, review the options for adding Nectir to your courses, navigate the interface and analytics dashboard, and examine how AI Assistants can be personalized to provide students with support tailored to your content and teaching style.
Nectir AI has been piloted with hundreds of instructors across California Community Colleges and, thanks to the pilot’s extension in partnership with the Chancellor’s Office, Nectir is now available to all CCC faculty and staff at no cost.
This workshop is ideal for faculty members seeking to enhance student engagement and provide 24/7 academic support, all while maintaining complete control over AI interactions in their courses.
This activity meets State PD Guidelines A, B, & C; ARC Strategic Goal 1 Students First and Goal 3 Exemplary Teaching, Learning, and Working Environment; ARC Professional Development Competencies: Equity-minded Service, Effective Communication, and Technology Proficiency.
Attendance at this professional development activity is limited to LRCCD employees and invited participants.
