Before you upload your text to the CMS (Course Management System e.g. D2L, Canvas), it is helpful to create an accessible, 508-compliant, original file. In this workshop you will learn how to create an accessible Word document that you can use for an HTML page or conversion to a PDF. Bring a Word version of your syllabus or other handout for practice. This workshop will include a Q&A session on the accessibility features of Canvas.

Corrine Haverinen is on the Computer Science Faculty, provides Web Design services, and serves as the Assistive Technology Specialist for Distance Education at Santa Rosa Junior College.
