Unlock the full potential of your college’s free Camtasia and Snagit access!

Join us for a 90-minute interactive virtual session designed for both new and experienced users. We will walk you through the essential features and the latest updates in both Camtasia (for video creation/editing) and Snagit (for quick image/screen capture) to immediately enhance your teaching.

This session will focus on practical, high-impact techniques that help you effectively engage students online and in person, and support Regular and Substantive Interaction (RSI):

  • Direct Instruction: Learn how to create concise tutorial videos (using tools like Camtasia Rev) for assignments and complex concepts, providing direct instruction at scale.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Discover how the video editing capability in Camtasia offers a unique advantage for providing high-quality, personalized feedback that can be refined before sharing with students.
  • Support Student Success: Use Snagit to quickly capture and annotate visuals, providing rapid visual support to help connect with students in place of lengthy written explanations.

There will be opportunities for Q&A during and after the workshop.

Please note that this training is limited to ARC employees.

This activity meets State PD Guidelines A, B, & C; ARC Strategic Goal 1 Students First and Goal 3 Exemplary Teaching, Learning, and Working Environment; ARC Professional Development Competencies: Equity-minded Service, Effective Communication, and Technology Proficiency.
