If you are teaching online this fall and are planning to use D2L for the first time, this workshop is for you! D2L is a platform where you can provide your syllabus, handouts, and resources; give students 24/7 access to their grades, communicate with email and voice, and create activities and assessments. Attend this hands-on workshop where you will learn the basics of D2L. You will post a syllabus and other handouts, create a webpage, create a drop box where students can submit assignments, and set-up a grade book. You must register at least 36 hours in advance, so that a practice course can be created for you. Please have access to a digital copy of your syllabus (in Word format for conversion to HTML and PDF) and a photo of yourself for upload.

This event meets State PD Guideline B; ARC Goals and Objectives 1.2, 2.1, 3.2 & 5.3; and ISLOs 1, 2 & 5.

Pre-registration is required.

Attendance is limited to employees of American River College and invited participants.
